Child and Environment was founded for the purpose of contributing to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Georgian young people. Our programs seek to protect the rights of children, and through educational and other creative activities, provide opportunities for children to grow culturally in our changing society.

Since its inception, Child and Environment has developed programming in several directions which include:

  • Direct Services Including: Healthcare, Educational and Arts Programming, Vocational Training, Psychological Services, Shelters for Street Children, and Food and Nutrition Programs for Children as well as Vulnerable Families.
  • Statistical Analysis and Monitoring Systems of the Ongoing Refugee, Orphan, Displaced Family, and Street Child Problems.
  • Charitable Events and Fundraising.
  • Children’s Advocacy Programming.

All of these endeavors have been implemented in collaboration with and funding support from a wide variety of national and international humanitarian organizations.

The special interest of Child and Environment is drawn to street/risk group children and children with disabilities.
